Suzuki Drives The Storm

01 Mar, 2009

Suzuki continues their partnership with National Rugby League outfit Melbourne Storm in season 2009 as premium sponsor of the premiership-winning team.

Suzuki Australia General Manager Tony Devers and Storm CEO Brian Waldron know the ongoing partnership is an excellent one for both parties.

“We are very pleased to continue our partnership with the best rugby league team in the country,” said Devers.

“Like Suzuki, the Storm has enjoyed phenomenal success in the past couple of years and we look forward to the joining of two winning cultures.”

Waldron said the Storm are delighted to have Suzuki Australia back on board for another year.

“Like the Storm, Suzuki has become a major player in Australia and we are proud to wear the Suzuki logo on our sleeve.

“We look forward to the continued rise of both Storm and Suzuki in the next few years,” said Waldron.

The Suzuki brand has a proud history of winning in its 100 year history and the partnership with Melbourne Storm is the perfect fit, given the club’s outstanding track record since joining the NRL in 1998.

With the NRL being one of the highest profile sports in the country, the sponsorship is proving the perfect vehicle for Suzuki to promote its rapidly growing image.

Suzuki looks forward to supporting the irrepressible playing style of Storm players such as Cameron Smith, Greg Inglis and Billy Slater, while contributing to the continued development of exciting young talents as well.
