Suzuki has treated a group of Kizashi customers to an advanced driving course highlighting the superb handling capabilities of their new cars.
Conducted at Broadford Race Circuit in north east Victoria, Suzuki hired leading instructors from John Bowe Driving School to put the group through their paces.
Beginning with a thorough safety briefing, customers were shown the correct way to set up the ideal driving position, using Kizashi’s 10-way electric seating and fully adjustable steering wheel.
“That was one of the biggest revelations of the day,” said Kizashi owner Charles Rechnitzer. “I’ve been driving for many years and never been shown how to set up your seating position. I can’t believe how much that bit of knowledge has improved my driving.”
Customers were than taken through a series of slalom, braking and handling exercises, each designed to not only showcase the capabilities of the Kizashi in a safe and secure environment, but also teach owners how to become better drivers.
The day culminated in some full race laps at the end of the session. All participants came away full of praise for the day, and their new cars.
“The drive day was a real eye opener for me – something that I have never had the opportunity of doing previously. We really learnt so much about the car’s capabilities, particularly the extra grip with an all-wheel drive vehicle” said Kizashi customer John Dimech.
“When I originally purchased the Kizashi, I felt that it ticked all the boxes in terms of comfort features and general driveability. The drive day really demonstrated the true capability of the car and I personally came away convinced that my decision to purchase the Kizashi was vindicated.”
Joining customers on the day was journalist Alborz Fallah from leading motoring website CarAdvice. The read his full report on the driver education activities click here.
