Suzuki Australia and Channel Seven Team up for 'House Rules'
Suzuki Australia has partnered with Channel Seven as a major sponsor of Australian renovation series, House Rules.
Last season was a ratings hit for the show, averaging more than 1.57 million combined viewers across Australia, with more than two million people tuning in to the finale.
This series will see six new teams renovating six houses in only six weeks. Teams will hand over keys to their homes and leave their rivals to transform their humble abodes.
To help them do so, teams were provided with Suzuki’s fleet of SUVs, with regular appearances from the Vitara Turbo, S-Cross, and the all-new Ignis.
Suzuki Australia Director Automobiles, Andrew Moore, said, “We’re thrilled to be a partner of one of Australia’s most popular renovation shows. With abundant cabin and cargo space together with impressive performance and exceptional fuel efficiency, our vehicles are right at home in this environment and will no doubt help drive the contestants to success.”
House Rules Executive Producer, Evan Wilkes, further commented, “We are very excited to be working with Suzuki on Series 5 of House Rules. With our teams racing all over town each renovation, Suzuki vehicles are a crucial cog in the wheel to help our teams get the job done.”
Host Johanna Griggs returns with judge Wendy Moore, alongside two new judges renowned international design stylist Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and prominent Australian builder and architect Drew Heath. Interior designer Carolyn Burns-McCrave is back on site to guide teams through this season’s renovations.
The end of the journey will see each team walk away with a totally renovated home, with the final two contenders facing off in an epic final battle for the $200,000 cash prize.
