Directed sister in law to the current Alto GLX. Nice reliable car. Added driver side rear fog lamp (by simply replacing the DS tail lamp; so - reverse lamp on left, rear fog on right) from UK model of same, - for lousy visibility conditions you get when on say the freeway in heavy rain or fog, added aftermarket rear fog switch and wired per ADR/NVS requirement. Love Suzuki Australia to specify the rear fog as standard, we afterall get front fogs, but don't spend that much time driving backwards, so don't need two reverse lights:-)

I own a Suzuki Alto GLX (called Suzuki Celerio in Latin America). I'm sad because here is only available with double front air bags and ABS+EBD+BA but sadly ESP or other air bags are not avaible even as an option. I am very happy with it. It's fun to drive, peppy engine, small turn radio and fuel efficient. Boot is small only on holidays (vacations)! Rear seats are a bit cramped but my husband and I only have a 3 years old child!

Worth every cent. Painfully cute little car. Irresistable to small children.

Patrina N.S.W love my alto glx it handles wonderfully. I feel completly safe in it, it is so economical on fuel it takes me ages before i have to fuel up again due to the fact that its mainly used for local running around.Loving all the little extras you can get for it i have the dash mat. floor mats and head light protectors, as it is cheaper to replace them rather then a headlight itself. In the future i am looking at getting a boot mat and window tinting. Would love it if you could release Alto seat covers as all my accesories match the car and I dont want to comprimise the air bags. Other then that i love my car and i want to drive it everywhere and show it off.Does anyone have any suggestions for good drives around the Penrith area. Thanks again to Suzuki and the guys at Nepean Motor Group Penrith who were very friendly and extremely helpful.

Had my Alto for 18 months. My wife and I use it as our runaround. - In a word - brilliant. Has not missed a beat, consistently gets b/w 16 - to 17 km per litre (it's an auto) and it doesn't really change much however you drive it !. Power - Little motor - be prepared to use the revs available and you will never get caught out at the lights or going up hills. Ride - sporty. Hangs on to corners like glue. Never managed to get it out of shape. Safety - So sure footed, it is hard to get the little thing flustered. The brakes are brilliant and you can stop quicker than anyone else on the road - so be careful. Room - for a 2 seater it is superb, can fit four if you have to but that's not idea; I'm 6 foot tall and is the most comfortable drive I've ever had. My seat is still not all the way back ! Bought one for my daughters 21st. When it is pouring rain I'm happy she is in the Alto - it will go where she aims it and I know she will be safe. Go for it !!

I was aware that the Alto has a tiny boot, a small engine and that the 3-cylinder engine isn't as smooth as a 4-cylinder engine. I can live with those minor compromises. I also got some floor mats because the floor covering looks quite down-market. As far as the rest goes: it is safe, very economical, low CO2, easy and comfortable to drive, build quality seems fine and it costs thousands less than other decent small cars. I'm very happy so far with my Alto.

Great Car, I'm a 26yr male and this is a fun, safe, cheap car to run, I'm saving loads on fuel. Audio system is 10/10. The car has been review having poor power, but the pickup in day-to-day traffic wasn't an issue, This is a MUST buy car if you need an A to B car. The boot space is small.....but ask your self, how offen do you use it? I got this car from Frankston Suzuki, Great Guys down there! go and see them.
