A Night at Suzuki's Drive-In Cinema
Suzuki drivers across Australia recently descended upon three iconic drive-in locations in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth for a truly unforgettable night. Over 450 cars pulled up across the three events, with owners driving up in all kinds of Suzuki models, from old school icons to today’s modern classics. The free and exclusive movie night for Suzuki owners created a unique opportunity to connect with others and celebrate their shared passion for their cars, all while enjoying a classic drive-in cinema experience. The movie of choice? Could only be the hilarious and action-packed 2006 racing comedy, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby!
Here’s what went down in each city
Perth
Over 100 Suzuki drivers gathered on Thursday, May 22 at the Galaxy Drive-In Theatre, Perth. With entry being free for Suzuki owners, the retro open-air cinema was filled with revving engines and passionate fans, as drivers settled in to enjoy the movie from the comfort of their cars.
Sydney
Sydney boasted the largest turnout across the three events, with over 180 Suzuki’s filling the Skyline Drive-In Blacktown on Saturday, May 24. The roaring gathering had Suzuki enthusiasts from across Sydney and beyond pull in to enjoy the complimentary show as well as connect with others in the community for a night of drive-in fun.
Melbourne
Melbourne’s Suzuki community rolled into the Village Cinemas Coburg Drive-In on Saturday, May 31 and saw over 170 cars in attendance! The night brought Suzuki owners from all over the city together to celebrate their passion for their cars and enjoy a cult classic comedy under the stars at the same time.
The Suzuki Range on Full Display
Suzuki owners of all models were invited to attend the drive-in screening, which meant that, not only were the cinema grounds filled with current favourites from the range, but also some iconic classic rides, each one bringing joy to all who drove out to see it. Amongst the colourful rows of cars, you could definitely spot at least one:

Along with the big screen entertainment, everyone who came along to one of the nights received an exclusive Suzuki merch pack. But the wins didn’t stop there! Each event hosted an exciting raffle, with the lucky winners taking home a kid’s ride-on Jimny!
