do you know the jimny law?
Like all rebellious heroes, the Suzuki Jimny lives by a code. We call it the Jimny Law. The unwritten rules, developed over decades, that every Jimny driver knows – or will soon learn, when they get behind the wheel. Now these unwritten rules have been written, so all may learn them, and live by them. After all, it’s the law.
1. Always wave to a fellow Jimny
Jimny drivers share a bond that can’t be expressed in words. But it can be expressed by lifting a finger off the steering wheel and wiggling it.

2. Park in a Pack
If you see another Jimny parked in the wild, you’re obligated to pull up alongside. Circle the block if you have to. It’s your duty.
3. My Jimny, My Rules
Like a ship at sea, the chain of command in a Jimny is crucial. Song choice and air-con level are driver-level decisions. It’s not a Jimnocracy. It’s a Jimntatorship.
4. See it? Say it
Just because you spotted that Jimny coming the other way, doesn’t mean everyone else in the car did. Say it loud and clear ‘Jimny!’ Everyone deserves a good look.
5. Name your Jimny
Jimny Cricket. Jimnima Puddletruck. Jimnothée Chalamet. It’s your choice, but choose you must.
There may yet be other laws out there. If you find them, please help your fellow Jimny drivers by bringing them to our attention.
