The Suzuki Night Market returns for its biggest season yet this Wednesday night and with even more reason to celebrate after a second successive win in the annual RACV Victorian Tourism Awards.
The Melbourne summer tradition took out top honours in the Festival / Events category and will go on to represent the state at the nationals early next year.
The Suzuki Night Market – located at the heritage-listed Queen Victoria Market site – is the original and largest open air night market in the southern hemisphere and continuously attracts over 25,000 patrons every single week with its unique mix of world foods, music and wares.
Now in its 14thseason, it has grown to become one of the premier seasonal events in Melbourne with the ultimate carnival-like atmosphere offering a vastly different feel to the traditional day market experience.
It is held every Wednesday night over the summer months and such is the popularity of the event that this season its borders have expanded with over 200 stall holders showcasing everything from hawker-style world foods, bars, live bands, busker style entertainment, wine tastings and of course local artisans and designers.
To celebrate its return, Suzuki is offering visitors the chance to win a brand new Suzuki Alto in its ‘What Drives You This Summer?’ campaign.
To enter simply tell us in 25 words or less ‘What Drives You This Summer?’ to be in the draw to win the funky city car.
Plus just by entering the draw there’s also the chance to score one of fifteen $50 Suzuki Night Market vouchers in the random weekly draw. Summer social calendar sorted!
Refer to facebook.com/SuzukiAustralia for entry details and full terms & conditions.
So whether it’s a night out with the work mates or a catch up with friends, the Suzuki Night Market is the perfect excuse to spend your balmy summer evenings in Melbourne.
